Another nice day

We walked around again today, hitting some of the better known tourist sports like the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain (of "Three coins in the Fountain" fame).

It was warm and sunny and Sheila and I both got some (mild) sun burn. Sheila told me not to walk in the street but to use the sidewalk to be safe. Really (I told her) that doesn't make any sense since cars use the sidewalks too.

So, here is the typical Roman church interior. Actually, this one is less cluttered than most.

Today we learned that the spot where Caesar was stabbed (now in ruins) in a cat sanctuary. See photo in the previous post with George and friend.

Tomorrow is the Rome marathon. I hope we can still get about.
